A Peacocks Plume
This could be a headdress at Mardi Gras, but to me it is a peacock and his vibrant plumes. He’d be quite the standout too, a majestic king with is crown high on his head. I enjoyed creating this piece as it seemed to flourish upon the paper. It’s mildly symmetrical, which is something that I like, yet it still is off, so it allows for a more organic feel to it. The colours throw me off a bit, as it has pastel tones yet also strong dark colors to root it. I like it though. This peacock is strong and yet delicate as the feathers are easily destroyed.
